Refund and Cancellation Policy
Transparent and fair refund and cancellation terms for all our clients
At BigBlueButton Host, we strive to deliver exceptional managed hosting and consulting services. Because our services require the reservation of dedicated cloud resources and specialized server orchestration, our refund and cancellation policy is designed to allocate infrastructure costs fairly and transparently.
Consultation Services:
Our consultation services are based on a prepaid model, where you pay for the time and expertise dedicated to your project. Due to the nature of these services, we do not offer refunds, regardless of the outcome. This policy ensures that our team is compensated for the time and effort invested in your success.
Managed Hosting Services:
For our managed hosting plans, we have a strict no-refund policy. This applies to both monthly and annual subscriptions, as these services involve ongoing infrastructure and resource costs.
Monthly Plans:
Monthly hosting plans can be canceled at any time, but cancellation will take effect only at the end of the current billing cycle. No refunds will be provided for the unused portion of the month, and access will remain active until the billing period ends.
Annual Plans:
Annual hosting plans may be canceled. Rather than issuing a refund, we offer the option to adjust the remaining balance toward a different plan or configuration. Any discounts or associated setup costs will be considered during this adjustment. However, no cash refunds will be issued.
Refund Exceptions & Fee Deductions:
In rare cases, a refund exception may be considered if:
Service Not Delivered:
If we fail to deliver the hosting service or provision the server due to a failure on our end, you may be eligible for a refund.
Mistaken Duplicate Payment:
If you make a duplicate payment by mistake and request immediate cancellation of the duplicate order, we may issue a refund for the duplicate transaction.
Deductions on Approved Refunds:
If a refund exception is approved, we will deduct all payment gateway transaction fees (e.g., Stripe processing fees, bank wire fees) and any currency conversion (FX) losses or differences from the final refunded amount when required.
SLA Uptime Credits: Credits issued under our Service Level Agreement are service credits for future hosting only. They are not cash refunds, cannot be transferred, and cannot be redeemed for money.
Our policy ensures that our clients receive the best possible service while maintaining fairness for both parties. If you cancel your service, your cancellation schedules will suppress the generation of future renewal invoices.
